Mafia families kill each other to make the world a better place.
This show was okay. Good setting, lots of crazy people and backstabbing, excellent ending.
The main problem is that it wasn’t Baccano. Every time I’d watch this, my main thought would be, “This looks like Baccano! I wish I was watching Baccano now instead. Now that was a great show!”
And it doesn’t compare to Baccano at any level. But really, what does? So this comparison may be a bit unfair.
Aside from that, the main problem, at least for me, is that it doesn’t lead you to invest in the characters. I never cared about Avilio. Or about the people he killed. The only one who sort of worked was Avilio’s one friend.
