Enen no Shouboutai — First Impressions

People are dying, and some dumb kid wants to play hero.

Well damn if that didn’t look amazing.

But it feels like such a shounen battle manga. Why in these types of shows is the solution always violence? This one seems potentially worse with the way it has turned the firefighters into a military organization. What could possibly go wrong…? Why do we always glorify violence and obedience to superiors, and focus on trying to be heroes instead of actually trying to save people?

But yeah, I’ll be watching it for the cool graphics at least.
