Hinamatsuri Review — A-

A psychic girl starts living with a yakuza.

Just as I said it would be before the series even started, it was fucking great. The only flaw is it was too short. An absolutely hilarious show. But also dramatic and touching at times. I especially loved Anzu’s homeless story, and Hitomi joining the working world.

But, honestly, the manga is approximately ten times better. The delivery of the jokes is better and the timing is much faster, just due to the format. If you liked this I highly recommend giving the manga a shot as well.

  • Storytelling – A – Hilarious.
  • Voice – A – Wow.
  • Characters – A – Superb.
  • Attention Grab – A – Kept me excited for the next episode.
  • Production – B – Pretty good.
  • Overall – A-

Recommendations – Level E, Mob Psycho 100
