JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure — First Impression

Well, that was certainly… bizarre.

They did do an excellent job at establishing the villain. What an evil bastard. I’m amazed that no one sees through his schemes, but whatever.

I also like the rapid pacing. This doesn’t seem to be your average shounen with long, multi-episode fights. Hopefully it’ll keep up the pace, although honestly, they could probably stand to slow down a bit.

My only complaint is that the animation seems as if they took a comic book and plopped it right down in the middle of the screen. I’m not sure if I like it. It is unique, though.

  1. Yes, it is Bizarre.

Origianal Manga was started around 1980s, and the manga was bizarre too.
And, that’s probably reason that they took a comic book and plopped it into screen.
There are also bizarre poses and exaggerated dialogue, which makes the story more weird. So, every wierd stuff is count, because being bizarre makes this manga unique. 🙂

I dunno people will like it, but there are bunch of original manga fans who want them making this anime wierd as possible

    1. I like weird! I think the decision to make it so like the manga was a good one. It’s a weird style for a weird show.
