Kids go to “space camp” and are stranded in space.
I thought it was vaguely interesting, enough to finish the first episode at least. But it wasn’t particularly well made. Entirely unsubtle and thematically quite generic, even if I do like the half-assed space theme it has going.
Probably not worth it though given all the other good shows this season. Let me know down the line if I was wrong.
Personally I’ve read the manga for this and I liked it a lot, but mostly on plot strengths. The characters are cute and I find them endearing but they’re nothing to write home about. The story however is really well thought out, and there’s a lot of creativity when it comes to the various planets they visit and their environments. But I’m a sucker for space stuff so there’s that.
You’re wrong, the manga’s a remarkably well-put together story and that should translate handily judging by the premiere.
