Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru Review — B

A school art club makes fools of themselves.

This show’s not particularly well made— it tends to drag things out, the art and voice acting aren’t that great, the character interactions sort of have this artificial feel to it— but I enjoyed it a lot regardless. The main reason being, it’s absolutely adorable. All the girls and boys are so cute. No, I’m not a lolicon or shotacon. Not that kind of cute. The kind that makes your heart feel like fluffy rainbow marshmallows.

Usami’s crush is adorable. President walking around with the little girl is so cute. Same with Collette and Imari’s existences. This is the kind of show that can get by on cuteness alone.

The jokes can be pretty good, too. But it often takes so long to deliver them… But maybe that’s what makes it so cute.

  • Storytelling – C – Some good jokes.
  • Voice – A – Adorable.
  • Characters – B – Gah.
  • Attention Grab – C – Definitely could have been faster.
  • Production – C – Meh.
  • Overall – B

  1. I have watched a couple of episodes and the gags and characters were fun enough but man does it feel generic, there’s no way I’m watching the rest
