Cute girls talk about random shit.
I started watching Lucky Star nine years ago. And I finished it today.
I enjoyed Lucky Star so much that I didn’t want to end. So I saved the last three episodes for later. That time was this week.
The last three episodes were as good as I remember the first 21 being. It’s really dumb which is what makes it so adorable. Konata’s laziness and otaku obsession, Kagami’s epic tsundere level, Tsukasa’s idiocy, Cousin Yui’s… existence. I still remember the first episode where they spend half the time arguing about a chocolate coronet. It was a great ride.
Now that I’ve finished Lucky Star, it feels like the end of an era. Next thing you know, I’ll finally watch Bokurano.

Do it!
“Next thing you know, I’ll finally watch Bokurano”
And I guess the sun will die out before you get to the manga.
Well I have to do it before I quit anime, only problem is it’s been ten years and I don’t seem to be quitting…
I miss Lucky Star. It doesn’t sound like the kind of show that would keep my attention. Yet, somehow, it did. It made me smile and feel relaxed.
That chocolate cornet discussion’s stuck with me, too. Such a simple thing, yet… memorable. Just like the show as a whole.
Same, it was a fun show. 🙂
Lucky Star was pretty good. I didn’t expect to like it that much, actually. I miss it, your review makes me want to watch it again.
I want to watch it again now too…
