I have mixed feelings about the treatment of Ninth and the detective. On one hand, I have to admit that it was pretty funny. But, on the other hand, their relationship was one of my favorite things from the manga. And it’s turned into a big joke here. But again, it was a good joke. So yeah… mixed feelings.

Akise is a man wise beyond his years (hey, I can’t blame him for not knowing how to spell when he’s speaking out loud).

Fake Weddings

I do not get the idea of these fake weddings. Romantic? It’s beyond creepy. Although based on other anime, it doesn’t seem all that uncommon… But based on other anime, tsunderes and cute ax-murderers aren’t all that uncommon either, so…

Anyway, not a fan of fake weddings, and this one was no exception. I don’t think it really made Yuno seem any creepier or added anything to their relationship that wasn’t there before. I guess it made Akise look like a weirdo, but we already knew that.

So a mildly disappointing episode, at best. I’m sure it will get better once we’re back to the action though.
