Is it just me or does he look like Eren? (no spoilers please) So if Eren has indeed turned into a Titan, does that make it not only incest but also… actually, no, I don’t want to think about this.
The fighting, of course, was awesome as usual. Having two titans going at it is almost as cool as watching Mikasa fly around with the grappling hooks.
What they did with Mikasa and the other recruits was nice as well. It’s not what we were expecting from her as all. Like Armin, the viewers (myself included) expected Mikasa to flip her shit.
Instead, she says it’s not the time to be emotional, calls the rest of the recruits either incompetent or spineless cowards, and leads a charge on the headquarters.
Of course, she’s an emotional wreck herself. But she still handled herself much better than I expected.
When Mikasa cut that chunk out of the titan, it looked like it had a bunch of rocks inside. It looked like the same thing as when Mikasa’s brain entered powerup mode, too. I do think there’s a connection between whatever special powerup Mikasa has and the titans.
That titan scene reminded me of eva unit-01 going berserk, which is a good thing!
Alot of elements from EVA were borrowed by this show.

I can’t say for sure. Isn’t Mikasa’s powerup a common occurence for shounen manga/anime? When it comes to friendship/love, suddenly you become stronger. Yeah. Anything is possible with the power of the heart.

OMG Is that seriously Eren!! Wow that would be awesome coz when’s the last time we had a series where the main character is a hulking, super-powered, naked monster. Its a massive massive improvement from whiny teenager.

The new Titan (“Eren”) looks so fierce that I almost felt sorry w/ the chubby one he killed.
Yeah, the other titan didn’t even manage to put up a fight.
