Kirito enters a new video game world. This time he’s a shotacon.
The animation style changed quite a bit from the previous seasons, from what I recall. Things look a lot crisper. I like the new style.
The first episode was long which I don’t think did it any favors. I started nodding off quite a bit. But the first part in the new virtual world was excellent, as were the fight scenes in GGO and the real world. I think overall, it looks more promising than most of the earlier parts of the series.
It was still extremely Sword Art Online though. As in, we learned that Kirito has a heartbeat monitor which constantly streams Kirito’s heartbeat data to Asuna’s cellphone. Now that is creepy as fuck.
