Yes, it’s a harem fighting show, with all that entails. And it will probably get worse as it goes on as these things tend to do. But honestly, I liked this first episode quite a bit. I particularly liked the main girl’s personality— she’s extremely competent and a bit of a bully. It feels a bit different and I like it. That said, we can already tell that a horde of other girls are on the way, which is definitely going to bring things down.
Also, I’m a poor judge of these things, but the animation seemed pretty good?

Animation is actually not very good, but they hide it well with some crazy camera angles and cool shots. Its not like terrible, but there are quite a few times where they show random shots of someones chest to avoid animating things, and sometimes they just don’t animate anything at all and they just make a static image of the character move across the background.
Wonder what your thoughts will be when its done. I pretty much laughed my way through episode 1. Just turned into a so bad its good type thing for me.
