Yuuko is a ghost with amnesia and big breasts.
Tasogare Otome x Amnesia is a combination ghost story, harem and drama. The horror aspects aren’t scary at all, the harem doesn’t work, and the drama is overwrought and not particularly interesting.
Plus, the style of this show is a poor man’s Shaft. All the weird camera angles Shinbo loves so much, just not as well executed. Ugh.
I can’t find much of anything this show did well to commend. I read part of the manga, and it was just mediocre rather than actively bad. I guess if you really want to experience this story read that instead.

- Characters – D – Teichi is ballslessness personified, Yuuko is walking breasts, then there is a hyper girl and that’s all there is to say about the characters.

Well yeah, the Shaft-esque visual style is because it’s a Silver Link show and the chief director, Shin Oonuma was pretty much Shinbo’s protege.

Oh yes, this show was a disappointment. I’m a horror fan so I gave this one a shot as there are not that many horror animes around. You summed it up pretty well when you said it failed at horror, comedy, and drama. Just like the OP, my interest got piqued by the initial bars and chords but the whole thing was a letdown. Choir Jail? What the hell….?
Yep, total let down. The whole ghost setup is just a cover for a generic harem / BS tragic past combo.
One of the biggest trash of it’s time. I was struggling like a zombie in order to finish it too. Ghost. What ghost? They must meant boobs
It took me a long time to finish. Honestly I should have just dropped it from the first episode.
