A hamster gives a girl magical powers.

This was actually surprisingly entertaining. It is the “wow I can’t believe this is so dumb” type of entertaining though. For example, look at this episode’s villain:

Yeah… And look at the four side character friends:

From right to left, that’s a guy, a normal(?) girl, a fortune teller, and a sheep. Yes. A sheep.

Not to mention it features Rie Kugimiya in her usual role as a talking hamster.

It wasn’t particularly original, except in that it took everything to the maximum absurdity. It was enough to make me want to see the next episode, at the very least.
