22. She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man
This was sooo bad it was impressive. They literally end with five minutes of silence, and then the girl says “I’m cute.”

21. Fantasia Sango – Realm of Legends
Brainless Chinese fighting show. It sucked.

20. Rusted Armors
I had high hopes after Tesla Note for the animation style, but no, this is awful.

19. The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest
This was so boring. What is up with all these shows with a protagonist who is perfect at everything? People actually like this? I don’t get it. Bored me to tears. I did like how he met this random girl and they were both like “he / she is so hot I can’t speak any more”. Neither of them were actually particularly hot, for the record.

18. Orient
On the positive side, it ended. What is up with those monsters lol.

17. Requiem of the Rose King
Since this is barely animated anyhow, I would rather just read the Shakespeare this is (supposedly) based on since I’ve actually never read it and I’m sure it is much better.

16. Futsal Boys
Cute boys play soccer. Nope, not for me!

15. Police in a Pod
Fuck the police.

14. Sasaki and Miyano
Seemed fine. Not my genre.

13. Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department
I think this was supposed to be funny. It wasn’t.

12. Girls’ Frontline
Girls are guns. I think the appeal of gaccha games is generally the interesting characters. Why do all the characters in this show looks so indistinguishable and boring? I guess in FGO they all look like Rin and Saber so maybe I just don’t get gaccha games. Anyway, I have no interest in this.

11. Cue!
Cute girls want to become voice actresses. Nope! I was pretty bored even by the standards of these types of shows.

10. Slow Loop
Seems generally fine but definitely not a show for me. Boring.

9. Tokyo 24th Ward
I feel like this should be something I like… the art style is nice and colorful, it feels generally well made… but there’s something off about the whole thing. If I had to say whether I like it or not, I’d have to say I don’t. It feels very superficial? Like the guy who wants to be a hero? Who would even think something so cringe, much less announce it to the world. And that trolley problem solution was extremely dumb. Probably not going to continue with this but I could be convinced to give the second episode a shot.

8. In the Land of Leadale
Pretty generic feeling isekai MMO type show.

7. Life With an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated Into a Total Fantasy Knockout
Eh, it was kind of fun I guess.

6. The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt
Based on the title, I thought this would be like “How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom” and make me angry and bore me. Gladly it was not! It had a sense of humor and I especially liked how the prince hated his job and tried yet failed to get out of it. It is actually interesting to watch! The best parts were the scenes where the generals were looking at the prince and blushing.

5. Tribe Nine
Fuck. I liked a show about baseball. What is the world coming to? I’m probably going to regret this but I’m looking forward to the next episode.

4. Love of Kill
I liked this manga (although I forgot what it was called and didn’t realized it was getting an adaptation until I started watching this) and it is off to a good start!

3. Sabikui Bisco
Of course a show with mushroom terrorism is going to be good… Kind of a mess but I like it so far.

2. My Dress-Up Darling
I like the manga for this too, and the anime didn’t disappoint! I just appreciate how it is a very wholesome story with a pretty healthy relationship for once!

1. Akebi’s Sailor Uniform
I was not expecting something with sailor uniforms in the title to be good! But this started off very interesting, and is very well animated. I can’t decide if it is extremely pure or extremely horny.

This season kind of sucks! Probably the least new shows I’m planning to watch ever.
