Sorry, I fell way behind on this. It’s such a good show, but even better when you don’t have to wait between weeks.
First off: snow is awesome. Every anime should have snow and mountains. Best setting. The only thing about Kanon that wasn’t terrible.

We’re back from the abyss of the previous episode, where we spent twenty minutes staring at Saki’s poorly animated crotch and crying over a dead puppy. This is back on the right track now.
I do think this show would do better if it had an extra season though. The pacing is fast.
The school board and / or ethics committee wipes Shuu’s existence from everyone’s memory. This shouldn’t be too surprising given what we’ve seen of the village so far.

I think about 50% of the episode consisted of shots of Saki’s crotch and butt. If they were going to do this, you think they would have invested in animating these two body parts well. But alas, no. This episode was mainly spent ramping up the tension and horror, so I don’t have too much to say. They certainly succeeded at their intended goal. These kids have guts of steel. Slipping into the zone completely surrounded by fences, filled with weaponized queerats and likely the ethics committee— no way they’re going to get away with this.
