What was I thinking when I kept watching this…?

Sometimes an anime comes along and just leaves me wondering, “why?” What were they trying to say? Why would someone enjoy watching this? Fairy Gone is one of those shows where I struggle to understand.

It was bad, but not even entertainingly bad. It felt like hours of characters explaining gibberish to each other and fighting over god knows what. Probably if I tried I could have followed the plot. But why? I had so little interest or investment in the characters, and I was bored out of my mind from the first episode. I kept watching because I thought maybe the fights would be good, but nope, they weren’t. Nothing was good.

Look at that guy’s face. He’s the main bad guy. That tells you everything you need to know about this show.
