The “hero” rapes, abuses, tortures and brainwashes women.

This was disgusting. I watch a lot of “classy” anime which is very perverted and often poorly made. But there’s a big difference between horny and bad, on the one hand, and downright nasty on the other. Redo of healer brings nothing positive to the table. Not only is the show dark and bleak and cruel, it glorifies the main character’s quest for revenge through rape, abuse and murder. It goes a step beyond even the trend of isekai with slavery by overwriting the very minds of the enslaved.

Why would anyone create such a thing? The staff should be ashamed of themselves.
