What the title says.
It’s fascinating having this and Realist Hero both air in the same season, since they effectively share the same premise. So it’s instructional seeing how gaping the differences between them are.
The difference, in my opinion, reduces to Genius Prince providing a human touch which Realist Hero lacks. While Realist Hero is heartless and wants to be the best king he can, Genius Prince is lazy and wants to retire. While both have a harem of adoring women, Realist Hero effectively has no interest in any of them (despite actually marrying them), while Genius Prince tries to flee from their advances but jokes around and flirts with them.
In short, genius prince has fun. (both the character and the show)
