Akarin~~~ ♪♪♪♪♪♪! Same old, same old. Not that I would ask for anything else.
The first half features an alternate reality where Akarin is popular and loved by everyone instead of being eternally ignored. A good way to catch the audience’s attention at the start of the show by messing a bit with our heads.
The second half returns to our usual yuri hijinks as the club takes a trip to the hot springs.
If you enjoyed the first season’s yuri hijinks and wacky sense of humor as I did, you’ll likely enjoy the sequel as well. I’m not going to blog this though since I never have anything to say about comedies.
First half was amazing because Akarin was actually popular! I bet everyone was like hmmm what is going on? When did Akarin become the lead character in a harem series!? THIS IS WRONG!! And of course it was all a dream from the start.
Things I loved: Akarin of course, Kyouko acting like a crazy nutcase, Chinatsu’s love for Yui and her ping pong eating hair?! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!? And of course Yui being the protective “mothering” type that she always is or when she is generally avoiding Kyouko.
Great first episode and yeah more of the same stuff from season one right down to the AKAARIINN!! Comments at the start! Opening wise it was a lot weaker in terms of “addictive-ness” and the same can be said of the ED! That said I am sure it will grow on me eventually…
Haha the ping pong hair… even scarier than Akarin’s flying disembodied hair.
