The first cube skit was epic. This could have been made into a stand-alone series. I’ll skip most of it and jump to the ending though.
Random side character gains the cubes to control the kingdom!
And proceeds to drop them out the window of the airship.
Oops!
And Mio is the HEIR TO THE THRONE!

Yesh! This needs its own series, I must know what happens in the Sky Kingdom, and after Mio obtains the cubes of power!
Yes! KyoAni, if you can waste your time doing a Munto OVA sequel, surely you can do a Nichijou “sequel”? This would be ten thousand times better than Munto too!
Only in Nichijou could they have a skit like this make any sense whatsoever.

hahahaha yes! That is a great skit for Nichijou! That first cube story line, it felt like they could have made their own spin off series with the elfs xD
