A school club gains superpowers.
The first half was not particularly inspired. We go through each character one by one and explain their superpowers. *Yawn*.
But things picked up in the second half, as the pace and quality of the jokes increased. I particularly like it when the main character (and Red) go all chuuni. It’s amusing enough that I’ll keep watching, hopefully the first half’s boredom was an outlier. But I doubt it.
FYI, my theory is that the main character’s power is actually to have his chuuni fantasies come true, not just his dark light thing. And that he’s the cause of all the other girls gaining their powers.

That actually sounds… really interesting.
I wish the pacing of the jokes had been better and tighter, as it was it didn’t do much for me (also, how did the power-thief girl even REALIZE she had superpowers? Did she just… feel it?). This show reminded me of The Devil is a Part-Timer, in that it’s a fairly innocuous LN adaptation, not raunchy or fanservicey but neither especially funny. I hope it picks up though, the concept itself could be pretty fun.
Yeah, I think this could be interesting, depending on what they do with it. It could easily go absolutely nowhere at all.
And yeah, haha, I was also wondering how the thief girl realized she had superpowers.
