In its first season, Oreimo started a trend of obnoxiously bad titles. Let’s hope its idea of distinguishing the second season by adding a period doesn’t catch on. I can only assume they are planning a third season by adding an extra stroke and turning the period into an exclamation mark. Hahaha, so clever!
I had a dim sliver of hope that this entire season would take place while Imouto was in America and we wouldn’t have to see her. Unfortunately this episode begins with her returning home. Foiled again.
This episode, as usual, consisted of Imouto being a dick to her brother. Hahaha, being abusive is so cute! It makes me want to sleep with my sister!
Other highlights include Kirino’s classmates asking her when she’s coming to school, while she is standing in the classroom wearing her school uniform. The answer: in a week.
We also have onii-chan rolling around in bed hugging his pillow. “She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not.” All this after she kissed him and told him she liked him that same day. Being dense is one thing, but this…
I don’t get why people like Oreimo so much.
The book series is ending! Hence the finality in the punctuation. The funny part is how most people like kuroneko better than the titular sister so the author had to-
Why would anyone think Imouto would be more popular than Kuroneko. Oh wait every show nowadays has an imouto, I guess someone must like this stuff.
Kirino being a total dick once again and everything set back to start feels contrived. I quite enjoyed the first season but by now (two episodes watched) I missed the relevations and surprises of season one. I’ll follow it for a while, though, as I’m curious how Saori (the nerd girl) will turn out to be a bishoujo and join the harem. Also, Kuroneko certainly is a favourite of mine.
I actually thought episode two with Ayase was great, better than a lot of the first season. I was never a big fan of this show in the first place though. I am looking forward to Saori’s episodes as well though.
