Re Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu — First Impressions

Our hero enters the fantasy world. If you die in the fantasy world, you don’t die in real life.

This was not as good as Re: Life but still really good. It’s basically KonoSuba combined with Higurashi, where it’s filled with dumb jokes and all the characters act like idiots, and they then proceed to be brutally murdered over and over again. It’s great. Right up my alley. Probably my favorite premiere of the season. Yeah I know, my taste is probably shit, you don’t have to tell me.

  1. Nah, don’t sweat it. This shows seems to wildly oscillate from “best show this season” to “yet another LN shitfest” even amongst bloggers and reviewers. It’s quite baffling. I want to check it out just to find out for myself but this season is already packed with stuff I’m enjoying, and I still have to check out Kiznaiver plus a couple of the comedies once my gf is around for them.

    1. Yeah, for the first arc, I definitely enjoyed it… sadly I think that after that second arc it is universally reviled by everyone, including myself. Hopefully it can recover with this next arc.

  2. Are we in minority, then?
    I like this show.
I ended up watching episode 1a, 1b and 2 in marathon.
Even though I originally only wanted to check out one episode.

This show is great because it’s self aware.
And protagonist is pretty decent and believable.
I can’t wait to see next episode.
I expect the handsome knight come to their rescue.

He seemed to be in deep thought when the protagonist said stuffs about loot house and stolen item.
