Try On — Eleven Days of Advent and One Day of Christmas #9

Overall, Build Fighters Try was pretty disappointing compared to the first series. (But it was still pretty darn great.)

The best moment of the show was in episode 22, where the main characters’ opponents begin an epic combination sequence:

But our “heroes” decide this is the perfect chance to attack.

Fortunately a shield blocks them and the combination is complete.

Then their opponent calls them out on their dick move.

When he’s right, he’s right.

  1. Well said.

I’ve read somewhere that when a transformation scene happens in mahou shoujo, the light surrounding the girls supposedly holds an insurmountable amount of energy. So it should /make sense/ not to try interfere with it… Maybe the same /principle/ follows in mecha’s gattai scenes as well.

    1. It’s just basic human decency to allow your enemies to finish their transformation sequence. No scientific explanation is needed.
