What did you all think of this season? Anything good I missed?
Sakamoto Days only gets better, taking less of the comedic angle that is characteristic in the early parts, though it always delivers on the high level action scenes
Farmagia was pretty silly, though you’d be surprised that it ends with a tease of what might be future material. Hiro Mashima spins crap into gold, it’s like a weird genie’s wish, given how he recycles designs and archetypes, almost like he plugs it into a random AI program to develop personality traits, quirks, etc. Like the lead in Farmagia is afraid of dogs, like how, I think Shiki in Edens Zero is terrified of bugs
OkiTsura was fun, the educational aspects help, though yeah, it definitely hits differently with even a post hoc consideration of the colonial and imperialist aspects (Okinawa being under U.S. control for a time, for instance)
NEET Kunoichi is still tamer than Makina’s a Love Bot from this season, which has official English version through OceanVeil, which has probably several dozen short 18+ anime I noted, but never got to because subs don’t usually come up
I do want to watch Beheneko if only because the lead is a cat (behemoth, whatever)
I’m surprised you even acknowledged Dr. Stone, since it wasn’t really on your radar at the beginning, from what I can tell. And I think there’s going to be 1 more cour after the one coming up in summer, stretched out over 36~ episodes for the final season
