War. War. What is it good for? Absolutely nothing. Just like this anime.
The problem with this show is, it could never bring me to care. There’s no compelling difference between the two sides, and it never feels like one has really wronged the other. I never feel much sympathy for any of the characters, nor care what happens to them. The war doesn’t even seem particularly bad. It’s not like anybody ever dies.
Argevollen wasn’t offensively bad, but I regret having bothered to watch it.
- Storytelling – D – Whatever.
- Voice – D – Pretty generic.
- Characters – F – Don’t give a crap about any of them.
- Attention Grab – F – Soo boring.
- Production – B – Seems fine.
- Overall – D
Recommendations – Zeta Gundam, Votoms, Break Blade

I think my only strong reaction to Argevollen was “Man, that’s a lot of screaming.” Otherwise, mind numbingly unremarkable, which is a pity because it could have actually gone somewhere.
