Danganronpa the Animation — First Impressions

Administrative Note: I got back home a few hours ago. And… I’ll be leaving again tomorrow morning. Back either Saturday or Sunday, not sure yet. As you know, I’m way behind. I’ll try to finish up the first impressions posts tonight and schedule them for while I’m gone. Then I have to do the impressions wrap up, write last season’s wrap up, and figure out what I’m blogging next season. No idea when I will get around to replying to comments… sorry. Unfortunately, I’m going to be away from the Internet for three weeks in August as well. It’s been a very hectic summer…

I probably won’t have time and we’ll be back to reviews of last season’s shows though. Also I may go on another trip from Thursday to Sunday so… yeah… I’ll write something about Anime Expo eventually too.

We can laugh because no one can possibly be so unpopular in high school she doesn’t talk to a single person for two months. But at the same time, we can shed a tear for her because we’ve all felt a little of what she does. Continue reading Watamote — First Impressions →

Rozen Maiden (2013) — First Impressions

I loved the original series, but… what were they thinking with this? I don’t see how anyone who doesn’t already know the story could have possibly followed what was going on. I could barely follow it myself. And they completely ignored Jun’s growth, which was the most important thing in the original. He’s just sitting there chillaxing the entire time.
