I loved the earlier seasons of this show but it really outwore its welcome. There are just two many girls. They could have easily done without that stupid loli, the idol, the witch, the mangaka, Tohka (I wish) and probably a few others I’m forgetting. It was hard to keep track of everyone, much less care, especially with this series spanning over a decade.
Maybe if I watched it all in one sitting I’d feel differently…
I did enjoy the final arc with its unexpected heroine however. Still a good show. Love its fun and goofy moments, when they are going on a date and the crew is voting on some dumb choices. Or when Shido is a dumbass, or when Kurumi does literally anything.
Let’s pretend the last ten seconds of the show never happened— worst ending ever.
- Storytelling – B – Its good moments are good, but it got too complicated with too many characters for its own good.
- Voice – B – Fun concept.
- Characters – C – Kurumi — A Tohka and Yoshiko — F
- Attention Grab – B – I mostly enjoyed it until the end.
- Production – B – Looks fine.
- Overall – B-
