I really like Type Moon stuff, but… this isn’t all that exciting. The only action this had was Rin killing some skeleton dinosaurs. It could stand to learn a thing or two from Cross Ange.
Anyway, onto this week’s episode. Evil Ilya is best Ilya, of course.
Did they change Berserker’s Noble Phantasm in this version of the story? I thought he had seven lives before.
Sure Rin, sure… Such a tsundere.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you can keep telling yourself that.
She is cute when she’s pissed.
I like how Taiga immediately assumes Shirou is hooking up with Saber when she hears Saber is staying the night. Oh, anime…
Such shock!
Also, what the hell is this supposed to mean? I guess Shirou’s classmates aren’t allowed to worry about him? Whatever…

Am I the only one annoyed by Fuji-neesan? I mean, you think Shirou’s about to get laid with a sexy blonde foreigner AND you crash at his house to prevent the sin to be committed? You DO know that’s the sure way to earn the eternal scorn and unplacable wrath of any male teenager, right?
Fuhi neesan is Shirou’s de-facto guardian, and essentially, Shirou’s landlady.
He can’t say no.
Whether he can or not, if he had plans on Saber, he’d hate her for that for all eternity. She’s lucky this is Rin’s route.
Haha phew, crisis averted.
Plus she can beat him up.
She’s a terrible person. But I forgive her because she’s helping Sakura.
I thought this episode was pretty darn entertaining, mainly from watching how much seeing senpai with any other woman just utterly crushes Sakura’s soul.
Yes, best part, ahahaha.
There’s an unproven rumor that Kinoko Nasu oversee and write for this anime himself.
Which means it’s him who decided to Berserker to be even more overpowered.
I don’t mind breather episode like this.
It’s good to see more Ayako, also Sakura’s reaction.
He isn’t more overpowered.
All the maid said is that Berserker can recover his lost lives as time pases, which was also said in the original VN (i.e. They didn’t change anything).
“Did they change Berserker’s Noble Phantasm in this version of the story? I thought he had seven lives before.”
Berserker has ( in the VN) 12 lives. You must be confusing it with Caliburn (which in the fate route managed to deal enough damage to kill him 7 times, considering the fact he was killed before 6 times by another servant: it managed to kill him).
So far they didn’t say anything about the total number of lives he has, only that they regenerate as time passes.
If anything, Berserker is weaker here. In the same scene, VN Berserker pretty much bitch-slaps Saber without taking as much as a wound.
The life count regen thing was canon. I don’t remember if it was supposed to be everyday or every three days, though.
Ok, good to know. I had vaguely remembered Berserker kicking more ass previously.
Ah, okay. I forgot that part. Good to know it’s the same.
And you’re right… duh.. there were 12 labors…
Sakura~~~ Can’t wait for Heaven’s Feel!
