A cute girl escapes from the evil empire.

As far as I could tell, this first episode was exactly the same as the OVA? Which was really, really boring. There’s a damsel in distress and a useless boy who she fell out of the sky on top of and who now has to protect her. It doesn’t help that there’s an obnoxious flying dragon voiced by Rie Kugimiya.

I like fantasy but I’ll definitely pass on this. Video game adaptations always seem to be disasters…
