It’s been a while, but I forgot to review this. I have to write a review so I can leave for posterity the fact that Gundam Build Fighters is fricking awesome.

Gundam Build Fighters is basically the perfect shipping anime. Everyone has the perfect boyfriend / girlfriend. Even the villains do. It is my dream as a shipper come true.

The best is the steamed bun wars shipping. So glorious.

Gundam Build Fighters is also the perfect shounen fighting show. You know how in shounen fighting shows, everyone you defeat becomes your new best friend? Here it actually makes sense. The fights never get boring, they’re wildly different every time, and they make you care about all the characters. Absolutely nobody is a disposable side character.
