A new Gundam! Sweet!
Interestingly, for a show supposed to be celebrating the Gundam Legacy, this doesn’t remind me much of any other Gundam show. This feels more like the direct successor to Overman King Gainer than to Gundam. The character designs, the animation style, the style of dialogue, even the song in the OP, are right out of Gainer’s playbook.
It does look pretty good, especially some of the backgrounds.
But this is not entirely a good thing. The dialogue, in particular, is sometimes impossible to follow. I often found myself confused what in the world the characters were talking about.
For example, this. WTF is that supposed to mean? She doesn’t seem to be responding to anybody either. Just declares this right out of the blue. There were a number of moments like this.
Also, the cheerleaders. Why…?
For now, I’m not particularly impressed, but I’ll keep watching. it is Gundam, after all.

Well, I had been waiting for this anime to air! After watching the first two episodes, I think that it’s amazing and the animation was beautiful and charming as the soft colors were a mix with the cheerful atmosphere and in many ways it had the old GUNDAM anime’s feel while still being modern! I’m very impressed with it and if you’re a Gundam fan, or even a mecha fan, I say it’s certainly worth watching.
Definitely a charming atmosphere! Too bad the dialogue isn’t as charming…
It’s supposed to mean that the world isn’t black and white.
I see, guess that makes sense. Sort of…
At least the gundam has a new look.
Needs a mustache.
The entire time they were in the Gundam’s, you could hear like six different voices speaking to each other, but I never knew who was talking to who, or what they were referring to.
Exactly. So confusing.
