How is it a brass band if it has flute players? Well, whatever. Look at this horrible trombone holding too. It looks like she’s lifting the entire thing by the trigger. That poor trombone.
Was this really made by PA Works? It looks so ugly compared to all their other shows.
The first episode was not too exciting. The mystery was pretty dumb. I guess the love triangle could liven things up. But based on this episode I have extremely low expectations for the rest of the show. There’s no passion.
I’m also concerned for that French horn…

I was horrified watching this first episode, like it was some imitation of Euphonium, but with none of the charm. BAH ON FLUTES!
Secondly, the fansub I had mistranslated “bass tuba” as “euphonium”, and I had to rewind and listen again once I saw the instrument was obviously a tuba.
Lol I didn’t notice that. Pretty amazing… Clearly wind instruments just aren’t as common in Japan…
