A boy turns into a dog and gets abused by his favorite author. This takes every anime cliche from the book and combines them all into one steaming pile of shit. Maids, idols, childhood friends, lolis, tons of jokes about breast size, it has them all. All arranged in a way to make the least possible amount of sense.
The novelty(?) is that the main character enjoys abusing everyone around her. There is some plot and some stuff about books but that’s all pretty much irrelevant. The general format is that each arc introduces a new female character. She fights with the main girl over the dog. Then they become friends and terrorize the dog together.
Not sure why I watched this. I honestly can’t think of a single good thing to say about it.
- Storytelling – F – Hahaha violence, abuse and girls with smaller breasts.
- Voice – F – Unique but in a way nothing should ever seek to imitate.
- Characters – F – Not sure why half of them even exist. Like the idol girl who contributed absolutely nothing.
- Attention Grab – D – Would have been better if it had caught less of my attention, since then I could have saved myself from actually paying attention.
- Production – C – Meh.
- Overall – F
Recommendations – If you liked this, then the next time you see a female, make a joke about the size of her breasts.
You didn’t even mention the only memorable moment in this show: a businessman, rushing to work, with toast in his mouth. Clearly a deconstruction of “high school kids running with toast in mouth” there. That was the only good thing in the 3 episodes I watched before I dropped it, and you don’t even bring it up.
Your review fails to me!!!
Exactly. That was the only good thing. That they attempted to plagiarize Daily Lives of High School Boys.
“If you liked this, then the next time you see a female, make a joke about the size of her breasts.”
+1
Glad I didn’t watch this show
Congratz for finishing this. I dropped it around the time, where his imouto got into a fight with the scissors onee-san. The only good things about this anime is only it’s songs. I put both of them in my iPod shuffle.
Thanks. It was hard work…
