Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu Review — C+

A girl starts an MMO together with her girlfriend Sally. Maple is so powerful she may as well be cheating. They have fun and start a guild with a bunch of cute and entirely forgettable friends. Maple transforms into a giant cockroach, and with Sally riding on her back, they mercilessly crush their enemies.

This was… interesting. It was cute and kind of fun if you don’t put much thought into it. But damn, this was so, so forgettable. Especially all the guild members. I’d usually forgotten who they were five minutes after they were introduced. Most of the fun is Maple just being ridiculous and continually shocking everyone. And Sally just casually murdering people on the sly lol.

  • Storytelling – C– It was fun to watch although not much of a story.
  • Voice – B – Cute atmosphere.
  • Characters – D – Entirely forgettable aside from the main duo.
  • Attention Grab – D – Drifted off a lot during this.
  • Production – B – Looks fine.
  • Overall – C+

RecommendationsSword Art Online Gun Gale Online, Log Horizon
