A battle princess takes an archer prisoner and starts hitting on him.

The setup is kind of corny. The bad guys are stupidly evil. The princess is dull. The whole setting is pretty generic.

However, I do like the slight twist with how the main character’s been taken prisoner. I always like it when the main characters dislike each other at first and then fall in love. Sadly the princess already likes him though so there isn’t much of a conflict.

My biggest annoyance so far with this show is the princess’ character, actually. She just seems boring. Usually it’s the male lead with the extraordinarily dull personality, but in this case it seems to be reversed.
