A bounty hunter has fun killing criminals in a fantasy world.
This is based on a card game, so I was hands down amazed at how great the first episode was. The animation is stunning. The characters are engrossing and fun, especially the lead character. When it gets into the serious fight scenes, especially, the action is kept fluid and engaging.
Definitely one of the surprise hits of the season.

What’s awesome is anime actually doing ‘western’ fantasy right. It’s a genre I usually like in other medium (mainly due to the esthetic) but anime often manage to make it the blandest and most boring thing.
Not that I’m a huge fan of the present shows esthetic but it seems good enough for now (kind of prefer Garo when it comes to style though).
That’s true, this is more “western” than anime usually is, with western dragons and witches and stuff. Can’t wait for more of this!
