Trying way too hard to be clever here and not particularly succeeding. Reminds me a lot of SHAFT and the Monogatari series.

I do kind of like the boring girl. They could do some interesting things with her, especially while acknowledging how uninteresting she is compared to the others.

This is all based on an “episode 0” so who knows if the rest of the series will be like this. Still, the purpose of an episode 0 should be to convince people to watch the main series, and this episode failed miserably in that regard. I’m not excited at all.
