Why are they called love triangles when they aren’t closed? Polygons are closed. Normal love triangles are just two line segments. In Zetsuen no Tempest, we have a legitimate love triangle. It is a kind of strange love triangle where the girlfriend is trying to push her boyfriend into going out with her brother who is also in love with her.
But of course, they aren’t related by blood! And that makes everything A-OK!
I will say though, I do really like Aika. Best character in this show by far. She has that mysterious allure. Definitely not going to let anyone boss her around.
Further Thoughts
Totally necessary. Not that she does anything more normally. The “this show is totally not gay” disclaimer character. Just like Neko in [K], seems to be a thing this season.
…
You were expecting anything else from this guy?
“It was just a joke! Pointing machine guns at people is hilarious! You seriously thought I was going to shoot you?!”
Weapon safety is no joke, guys. Friends don’t point machine guns at friends.
I’m trying so hard to enjoy this show. All I wanted was a cliche tragedy, but they can’t even do that right.
Pretty much. They’re taking all the out of context quotes from Shakespeare, but not the things he actually did right…
