Ange comes back. Everyone’s happy to see her. She goes and visits Jill in order to be a bitch. Then she runs into Hilda in the hallway. Hilda is being all dere-dere.

She says in a show that consisted almost entirely of lesbian sex.

Cross Ange, such a progressive show!

Meanwhile, right after Ange accepted Hilda’s confession of love…

Meanwhile, Commander is busy raping the mechanic.

They go to attack the Dawn Pillar. Embryo starts doing karaoke. The submarine (it’s flying now?) shoots at the pillar. It crashes down and kills thousands of people. Nobody gives a fuck.

Salia knocks Ange into the palace, where she runs into a bunch of people attacking Nunally. They beg Nunally to save them while she is sprawled on the floor crying unable to walk. Then they ask Ange to help them. While brandishing weapons at her.

Nunally gets up and starts running down the hall.

Truly a great episode, to be remembered down through the ages.

  1. PFF! Nunally is such an idiot! Everyone should already know that by now but really…GET ON YOUR FEET AND RUN, FOOL!!!

  2. The scene between Jill and Ange was great too. Ange’s openly mocking Jill for feeling too ashamed to tell everyone that she got raped by Embryo and that she made mistakes because of that. Ange’s such a sympathetic character!

It’s also nice to see that Hilda has finally put into words this series obsession with princesses. Apparently if you’re a princess like Jill, Ange or Salako you’re a natural born leader because royalty and stuff, of course. So naturally Hilda isn’t fit to lead the mission.

    1. It’s like Revolutionary Girl Utena if there were more mechas and dragons and less brains. MUCH less.

    2. Yep I liked that part. 🙂 Ange is one of the most unique characters an anime has had in a while hahaha.
