Honestly, I just don’t particularly like horror. I am a wuss. But aside from the very start and the xenophobia this episode was pretty forgettable.

17. More than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers
Complete trash. This is like Rental Girlfriend, but it made me realize I actually could have hated the characters from that show even more. All these people suck but especially the main guy. Obviously I’ll be watching.

16. I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills
Exactly like it sounds. Seems pretty dull.

15. My Master Has No Tail
A tanuki is bad at tricking people and decides to learn rakugo. It was pretty cute… will check it out but not sure if I’ll continue.

14. Love Flops
Been a while since we’ve seen such a straightforward harem show like this. I keep waiting for there to be some crazy twist but it hasn’t happened yet… Best girl is trash.

13. Reincarnated as a Sword
On the one hand, this episode was 90% bloviating about status screens. On the other hand, it is firmly in favor of murdering slave traders… How my standards have fallen. Surprisingly the second episode was pretty good though.

12. Blue Lock
It’s like Danganronpa for soccer. Honestly seems pretty good. But it’s about sports so I have zero interest.

11. Shinobi no Ittoki
Ninjas! This was fun. And way better sense of humor than eminence in shadow… *cries* The second episode was a bit of a letdown though…

10. I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss
I think this will be average at best. However I love this villainess genre so I will at least give the second episode a shot…

9. Raven of the Inner Palace
Y’all may be surprised to learn that this is one of my favorite manga genres. Inner palace shoujo dramas. Yes this is a grenre. They’re great. This one isn’t off to a great start but I’ll probably watch it regardless…

8. Bibliophile Princess
Liked the first episode although I suspect it will go downhill. Lots of drama over very little lol.

7. Futoku no Guild
Terrible. Absolute trash. Love the manga and looking forward to it.

6. Urusei Yatsura
Embarrassed to say I never watched the original. The first episode seemed really good! A lot of it is pretty dated but I’m fine with that. The visuals I imagine are greatly improved from the original.

Not my genre but it was really well made. Good sense of humor too.

Normally not my thing at all but this was a great first episode. Unique animation style, very engaging and good sense of humor. Lots of bad puns.

The manga is amazing and this is off to a great start. Honestly I struggle with all the gore much more when animated though.
