An anime that treats trans and gay people seriously and not as a joke or a fetish???
I had low expectations from the title and past anime treatment on the subject but this was actually pretty good. Lots of drama, teenagers discovering their self-identity and dealing with their family issues, yada yada. It tackled some serious issues and didn’t try to give any easy answers. That said, good subject matter, but the show itself is decently made, not great.
I especially liked how the two love rivals actually got along well and had a relationship apart from the main love interest.
Sadly kind of ended in the middle but did still end with a bang.
