Fleeing the guillotine, living your best life.
Another isekai which I absolutely loved this season. What sets this one apart is the cheerful upbeat attitude of the show itself and how everything always turns out well for Mia, coupled with her constant fear of the guillotine. Sometimes you need something light, cheerful and hopeful, and this was it this past season.
The art style is really cutesy too which helped.

It’s a little bit like Ascendance of a Bookworm- the character wants a couple basic things – to read books and not die of devouring, or to not be decapitated and eat tasty food. But they end up changing the world around them.
I liked it enough that I’m reading the light novels now.
I am tempted to read the novels too, even though I’ve hated every light novel I tried to read…
One thing I’m not fond of on Tearmoon LN is there are a lot of side stories covering the same event from a different character’s POV. If they were revealing new information I’d be more OK with it, but they tend to feel like filler.
