Lesbian lolis make out with each other.
This really did not need a second season. The new character, Kuro, was really annoying. They couldn’t even make a new design for her, it’s just Ilya with a tan. I can imagine the creators’ thought process:
- “We need a new character to be Miu’s love rival and make her jealous. But not Shirous, then we can’t have them make out with each other.”
- “I want to see Ilya make out with herself.”
- “Brilliant!!!”
Anyway… this season was pretty forgettable. I even forgot to write a review for it. And I already forgot most of what happened. Well, whatever, no big loss.
- Storytelling – F – Nothing of particular interest.
- Voice – B – Interesting place in the Fate universe.
- Characters – C- Aside from Kuro they’re good. Miu didn’t seem to have much of a role this season though.
- Attention Grab – D – Already forgot what happened.
- Production – C – Looks fine.
- Overall – D
Recommendations – Nanoha, Carnival Phantasm

I don’t doubt that she was…
Just be aware that the origin of Prisma Illya is a manga, and that this season is only a half of the 2nd Prisma Illya manga (so the story isn’t finished yet, I think that in January another season will air which will finish the rest of 2wei).
And Miyu’s background won’t be revealed in the next season either, it’s reveled in Prisma Illya 3Drei.
Not much has happened in this season because they wanted to draw this out for 2 seasons (I don’t think the full 2wei story could be told properly in 13 episodes).
Hopefully Prisma Illya 2wei Hertz (or however it’s called) will be more interesting.
At least it had Bazzet XD
Oh, so there is another season coming. Maybe that’s why I “forgot” to write a review… I didn’t do it intentionally because I was waiting for the second season season, and then forgot that I hadn’t forgotten…
Glad I’m not the only one who thought this season was a bit slow, even the big fans of the original show thought so.
