Well, this is a huge improvement over the last arc. I greatly prefer right-wing nuttiness to endless tedium and boredom.

•  Mahouka does have some interesting ideas, like this one of freeing magicians from their fate as weaponized humans.Some thought and development on this could lead to an interesting theme. Sadly the treatment is only superficial. The author’s vision is basically to replace magicians as warriors with magician drone operators.I fail to see how this changes anything of consequence.

• TRULY ASTOUNDING. Someone could think of the same brilliant idea as Tatsuya?! Unbelievable!

• A boy is having a conversation with a beautiful girl and not making a move on her? Clearly he’s either gay or a robot.

• Oh, phew, Tatsuya is a man after all. He would do any girl who lets him. As long as Chinese hackers couldn’t get the sex tape from the surveillance camera.
• Now the Chinese want to steal documents from the high school science fair. Jesus.

• Woot, Erica’s back to what she’s best at! Beating up and torturing innocent people!
