Huh. I actually really liked this first episode. I do have some concerns— mainly how all the characters are bishies. I assumed this was based on an otome game at first…

So far it doesn’t seem to be going that way though. It’s more of a mystery regarding the setting at the moment. And it looks like (or perhaps I am just seeing this through hope-colored lenses) there will eventually be lots of betrayal and intrigue and politicking.

Also, fabulous soundtrack.

I like the main character a lot, particularly how she’s emerging from a long period of solitude. And some of the others seem interesting too, especially shutin and purple girl. Tsun-tsun girl looks annoying though. And the main guy is a bit bland. Unless he actually took the girl up there so she could fall and he could “rescue” her for the sake of later politicking. I suspected that’s why the shutin said “again?” when he saw them. Perhaps I’m reading too much into this but I sure hope not.
