Girls are with guns. They have fun in their school club and play survival games.
The survival game was cool. Some nice action scenes. If we’re in for more of that I’m down. I’m not sure if I can sit through the tea parties in the club room and the angsting over making friends to get to the next survival game, however.
Also the animation looks terrible.
Was the animation really all that terrible? I mean, it wasn’t great, but it didn’t seem below average.
I guess it helped I watched this directly after KKK.
I thought it was ugly, but then again I am not really a good judge of animation.
The animation definitely wasn’t smooth, but I thought they did a good job of playing down their small budget.
Not that I care too much about the animation anyway; I’ll keep watching just to see some more Kirishima.
Something tells me they are riding on the Girls Und Panzer line that involves moe girls doing somewhat masculine things because it’s a cute fetish. But somehow it lacked the cultural normality, HUGE diverse characters with different personalities, and the warm friendly sportsmanship feel that GuP successfully executed. Also, I know that they don’t spend too much time brooding in tea time.
Actually, they decide to adopt the manga into anime before Girls und Panzer anime air…
Yeah, here it’s different in that survival games are not culturally accepted. It loses that absurdist feel that helped make Girls und Panzer so successful.
