Angel’s Egg Review— F

A girl wanders around town with an egg. The end.

This has got to be one of the most boring movies I’ve ever watched. See my post with Cholisose for details.

Nothing happens. The entire story could have been told in five minutes. Now, this movie’s defenders will claim it’s “artistic” or “atmospheric” or something. Those are just excuses. It’s boring. If a movie can’t keep my attention (and yes, I literally fell asleep halfway through and woke up eight hours later in my first attempt at watching this) then I don’t care how much artistry it has. I don’t want to watch it.

  • Storytelling – F – Zzzzz….
  • Voice – F – Zzzzz….
  • Characters – F – Zzzzzz…
  • Attention Grab – F – Zzzzz….
  • Production – F – Zzzzz….
  • Overall – F

Recommendations – Pretty much any movie except Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer is an improvement over this.

    1. I don’t know, I haven’t gotten any invitations yet. I think it may just be that most world class magazines sadly do not review anime…

Right there already makes you wonder what the producers were thinking when they made such a movie like that. Probably because they are obsessed with eggs or something?

    1. If they were so obsessed with eggs, why they didn’t even do the only thing I wold want to do with an egg— eat it?! It doesn’t make any sense at any level!!!
