An otaku is in the army. They fight fantasy creatures.

Was pretty underwhelmed by the first episode (although I never had much hope for it). I do like the manga, mainly because it involves the Japanese army with their tanks and bazookas and stuff fighting mages and dragons. It’s kind of amusing. Also the harem aspects are decent (as far as these things go).

But it doesn’t have much focus. And the anime looks like it will be a pretty straight-up adaptation without many changes to make it more appropriate for an animation.
