Fuck I loved this show so much. Finally cute anime girls have an awesome dream and do something I am so jealous of. Damn it, I want to go to Antarctica too.
All of my Antarctica children are adorable. They are good children. They work hard to reach their dreams. They even made me cry. I very much love how all of them have a fatal character flaw. The one who wants to go to Antarctica is kind of an ass, the genki girl can’t think much for herself, the idol is a such a loner even I’m embarrassed for her, and convenience store girl will probably end up as a serial killer. They’re all good children.
It even made me cry.

I loved this show. It seems like it’d be a good show for people who don’t watch anime but ask for titles to watch to get into it.
One of the themes that the director talked about in a recent interview and which pops up in the later eps was that even if the girls never get together again, they’d still say that they had a once in a lifetime friendship. It doesn’t seem like a common anime theme; but as I get older I think I get more how that happens.
